Exciting News: The Creative Arts Counseling Center (Formerly Expressive Arts Place's Counseling Office) is Becoming its Own Entity with a New Office in September 2023
At Expressive Arts Place's Counseling Office, we've been on a mission to provide exceptional mental health counseling services to communities of color in Massachusetts since 2020. In the face of the Covid-19 and Racism pandemics, we recognized the urgent need for trauma-informed and identity-affirming mental health care. And over the years, we've grown, expanded our services, and built strong connections with our clients and communities.
But we're not stopping there. We're always striving to find new ways to improve our ability to serve and make a difference. That's why we're thrilled to announce that The Creative Arts Counseling Center is becoming its own independent organization with its own physical location! This exciting development will allow us to expand our services, reach more people, and provide an even higher level of clinical care.
Expressive Arts Place will continue its vital work promoting community wellness initiatives, developing trainings to equip mental health professionals with the tools necessary for culturally responsive and inclusive mental health practice, and supporting advocacy efforts to address mental health disparities and improve access to mental health and wellness resources for marginalized communities.
At the Creative Arts Counseling Center's new location, we'll continue to embody the same values that have always driven us. We believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality mental health care, and we're committed to making that a reality. By becoming a separate entity, we'll be able to do even more to support our clients and communities in need of clinical counseling support.
